1. Information We Collect
Cura Kitchen collects information you provide when creating an account, uploading documents, and using platform features. This includes your name, email address, business name, and operational data such as menu items, ingredient costs, and supplier invoices.
We also collect usage data automatically, including browser type, IP address, and in-app activity, to improve the platform and ensure security.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Cura Kitchen platform
- Process your uploads and AI-powered extractions
- Send you notifications and operational alerts
- Manage your account and subscription
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted on Replit's infrastructure. File uploads are stored in Replit Object Storage. We use industry-standard TLS encryption for all data in transit and apply security headers, rate limiting, and access controls throughout the platform.
AI processing is performed via Anthropic's Claude API. Document content sent to Claude for extraction is not retained by Anthropic beyond the API call, per their data usage policy.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (Clerk for authentication, Replit for infrastructure, Anthropic for AI processing), and only to the extent required to provide the service.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@curakitchen.com. Account deletion removes all associated data within 30 days.
6. Cookies
Cura Kitchen uses authentication cookies managed by Clerk to maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
